ABOUT LA CULA LIBRE
La Cula Libre is a community of powerful people who move, sweat, laugh, and lift each other up, every single week. We're here to prove that dance belongs to everyone, and that it's never too late to start.

WHAT WE STAND FOR
La Cula Libre exists to encourage people to be their truest selves — freely, unapologetically, on their own terms. Through dance, we help people listen to their bodies, express what words can't, and build confidence that stays with them long after the music stops.

THE WOMEN BEHIND IT
Meet Your Teachers
Moni
Founder & Lead Instructor
Moni is the founder of La Cula Libre. She picked up dancing at 22 and it became her constant. She has been trained in styles from dancehall to hip-hop, afrobeats, traditional African dances and more across Europe and Africa. Wherever she goes, dance is her place of belonging, freedom, healing and joy.
She fell in love with twerk when daily twerk kept her afloat through a tough patch. That same year she became an instructor and started teaching.
Now, she brings her vision to life with La Cula Libre: a dance & community space to feel free, connected and at home in our bodies.
Moni believes that life is limitless and that we should live it in our own way. Besides being a dancer and teacher, she is a space engineer and a doctor in Climate, working to help people face climate change. She chose to live in a tiny house to live more sustainably and intentionally. She puts her heart into everything she does and believes that dance can change the way people see themselves - giving them confidence, freedom, and the courage to live authentically. Never stop dancing!
