Join us for this open level Hip-Hop workshop and let's dance together!
In this workshop Marilva will take us through some Hip-Hop foundations and and moves, and train them through different dynamics. The goal is to get the Hip-Hop groove going. Open to all levels!
After class, we open the floor for freestyle cyphers — an important part of hip-hop culture, where it’s about creativity, confidence, exchange and respect. All levels are welcome.

Teacher Spotlight
Marilva
Marilva, originally from The Hague, began her dance journey in 2006. Over the years she has developed and deepened her skills in various dance styles including House and Hip-Hop. In 2013, she further refined her technique at the Urban Dance Program in Utrecht, where her passion for hip-hop culture continued to grow.
Afro Fusion Workshop & Community Dance

Join us in this Afro Fusion workshop and get a taste of different African dances!
In this workshop, Danimé will take us through the foundations & origins of some moves from Afrohouse, Ndombolo, Kuduro, Nigerian and Ghanaian styles. She will teach us the moves and then combine them in an Afro Fusion choreo.
After the class the floor of the studio will remain open for another hour so that we can all enjoy the after-class hype, dance and share together. Staying is 100% optional but it is a great way to build community and meet new people!

Danimé
Danimé is an Angolan dancer, born and raised in The Netherlands. She educates her students about her own country, but also countries and styles that she has invested in, like Jamaican Dancehall and African styles.
She teaches in different (dance)schools and travels also to learn more about certain countries and styles.
She has shared stages with Elephantman, Beenieman, Bokoesam, Shenseea & Stonebwoy and enjoys performing as well.
"I love to let people discover their flow and what their body is capable of."
